We tested it on 668 news articles written from the same headlines: 268 by journalists and 400 by AI models. 21% of the AI-written articles scored Heavy slop or worse. None of the human-written ones did. A repeated habit counts once, so a long post isn't flagged just for being long.
Ingredients: chatbot vocabulary (delve, leverage, a testament to, serves as), binary contrasts (“It's not a tool. It's a teammate.”), throat-clearing openers (“Here's the thing:”), colon reveals (“The best part: it's free.”), self-answered questions (“The result? Growth.”), engagement bait (“Agree?”), chatbot leftovers (“I hope this helps!”, “[Your Name]”), negative listings, fake-profound kickers, weasel attribution, importance puffery, rule-of-three lists, and about fifteen more.

On Google Docs, which draws its text on a canvas, it downloads the open doc as plain text from Google, the same as File > Download. That is the only network request it makes.
